NEW WORLD ALLIANCE REVISES GAM PACIFIC LINK
The New World Alliance of APL, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and Hyundai Merchant
Marine has revised their "GAM" transpacific service.
Renamed "Guam China Express," the weekly service no longer calls at
the
Mexican port of Manzanillo, but it includes a direct call at the Chinese
port of Qingdao.
The service continues to employ U.S.-flag ships.
The coverage of Mexico has been replaced by the Mexico Asia Express
weekly service launched recently by APL and Transportacion Maritima
Mexicana.
The Guam China Express has a rotation of Los Angeles, Oakland, Guam,
Naha, Qingdao, Busan, Hakata, Nagoya, Yokohama and Los Angeles.
