Next Generation, Data Masons team up

Next Generation Logistics, a developer of transportation management software and supply chain consulting services, and Data Masons Software, a provider of EDI and XML solutions, entered a technology partnership.
Next Generation selected Data Masons’ Vantage Point EDI (electronic-data-interchange) solution to complement the capabilities of its FreightMaster TMS and Dynamics TMS software.
“When selecting an EDI partner, Data Masons’ technology strategy aligned with our own focus on offering a low total cost of ownership, leveraging existing infrastructure and delivering robust solutions,” said Ari Smith, Next Generation’s president and chief executive officer.
“While our TMS software provides a complete enterprise transportation management planning and execution platform, Vantage Point EDI will allow customers’ to quickly and easily integrate EDI data, automate key EDI processes, improve message tracking, without the complexity and unnecessary ERP customizations,” he added.
