NORASIA REVISES MONTREAL/EUROPE LINK
Swiss carrier Norasia is changing the European port rotation of its
non-conference weekly service between Montreal, northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
The service will now call eastbound at the ports of Hamburg and
Felixstowe, but eastbound calls at Liverpool and westbound calls at Le Havre are being
stopped. Norasia said that it will serve Le Havre by transshipment over Zeebrugge.
Norasia will continue to provide direct eastbound service from Montreal
to Le Havre, with a revised rotation of Montreal, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Zeebrugge, Le
Havre, Alexandria, Haifa, Izmir, Naples, Genoa, Southampton, Zeebrugge, Hamburg and
Montreal.
The first direct sailing at Hamburg is scheduled on July 3.
The Montreal/north Europe/Mediterranean/north Europe/Montreal
"CEX" service of Norasia employs seven containerships.
