NORFOLK SOUTHERN OFFERS DIRECT SERVICE TO SAVANNAH INTERMODAL TERMINAL
Norfolk Southern is offering direct service to the new intermodal facility at Savannah, Ga. The new Mason Intermodal Transfer Facility is at and operated by the Port of Savannah, Ga.
This new service includes direct rail service to the port, efficient transfer of containers between rail and ship, improved performance in key lanes and new east-west services to be launched this summer.
Savannah is the third is a series of new intermodal facilities opening this year on Norfolk Southern Lines.
