NYK OPENS TWO WAREHOUSES IN U.S. PACIFIC NORTHWEST
NYK Line (North America) Inc. has opened warehouses in Auburn, Wash., and Portland, Ore.
The Auburn facility comprises more than 50,000 square meters of warehouse and trailer yard. The second facility, situated 3 kilometers from the T-6 container terminal at the port of Portland, covers 24,000 square meters.
Given the location of the warehouses near the gateway ports of Seattle, Tacoma and Portland, these two facilities are expected to serve as “important logistical infrastructures for the company’s trans-loading and distribution services for the entire Pacific Northwest region,” NYK said.
