OIA Global has opened a new office in Tokyo — the company’s first office in Japan — and has named Shigeru Kashihara as managing director of Japan.
The new location will give OIA customers in the United States, Japan and throughout Asia-Pacific better control of their freight, according to a company release.
“Our new office in Japan, reinforces OIA’s growth strategy and allows us to further build our infrastructure in the world’s fastest growing markets,” the company’s chief executive officer, Charlie Hornecker, said in a statement. “We are now better positioned to support existing customers and their global, logistics, sourcing, and packaging needs.” – Jon Ross
