OPTIMUM, JOSEPH TRANSPORTATION TEAM UP ONLINE
Optimum Logistics, a Connecticut-based software developer, and Joseph Transportation, a U.S. provider of rail transportation services, have teamed up to integrate their online logistics offerings.
The two companies will link Optimum's TransLink system for managing bulk materials with Joseph Transport's RoadRunner rail fleet management system.
“The reciprocal deal is designed to accelerate the rollout of next-generation, multimodal supply chain management for industries including chemical, agri-bulk, steel and forest products,” the companies said.
