PACER, HUB GROUP CEOs DENY ACQUISITION RUMOR
The top executives of both Pacer International Inc. and the Hub Group have denied a rumor that Pacer was negotiating to buy the Hub Group.
David Yeager, vice chairman and chief executive officer of the Hub Group, told the Shippers NewsWire that “any report alluding to such a thing is wrong, really off-base. The Hub Group is not for sale, period. My family owns more than 60 percent of the stock, and I think I would know if something were in the works.”
“There are no on-going discussions taking place between Pacer and the Hub Group,” said Donald C. Orris, chairman and CEO of Pacer International Inc.
