Pacer reports $2 million 1st quarter profit
Transportation and logistics firm Pacer reported first quarter net profit of $2 million compared to a $500,000 loss in the same 2010 period.
Revenues were $358.4 million in the first quarter compared to $363.7 million in the same 2010 period.
The company said its intermodal segment had revenue of $279.5 million in the first quarter, 5.8 percent more than in the first quarter of 2010, while its logistics business had revenue of $79 million, a 20.8 percent decrease from the first quarter of 2010.
