PACER STACKTRAIN NAMES CHOPRA GM INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
Pacer Stacktrain, the double-stack rail transportation unit of Pacer International, has named Sunil Chopra general manager international, responsible for expanding the company's international line of business.
Chopra was vice president and general manager for Australia-New Zealand Direct Line, the Sydney-based unit of CP Ships. His transportation and logistics experience includes serving with P&O Nedlloyd in the United States and Canada, and with APL in Asia, the Middle East and in North America.
Pacer Stacktrain's business accounted for more than $800 million in revenues in 2001.
Pacer International, based in Concord, Calif., is a North American freight transportation and logistics services provider founded by intermodal veteran Don Orris.
