Perkins Logistics acquires Vogel Specialized Hauling
Perkins Logistics of Noblesville, Ind., which provides specialized transportation services for the office furniture, store fixture, home cabinet and trade show exhibit industries, has purchased the assets and ongoing customer relations of Vogel Specialized Hauling, Inc.
Headquartered in Indianapolis, Vogel Specialized Hauling provides time-sensitive transportation for products requiring flatbed, heavy haul and over-dimensional serving the retail construction, roads and bridges, mining and racing industries.
Perkins said Bob Vogel, who founded his company in 1998 will join Perkins along with his team of drivers and staff.
Andy Card, Perkins owner and chief executive officer, said, Vogel’s “experience and qualifications are outstanding, and we’re eager to see him lead Perkins’ flatbed segment and transportation management business to its full potential.”
