Pilot’s Mexico City station offers operational and administrative support, warehousing and logistics services, and access to northbound, southbound and intra-Mexico ground and air transportation.
The Lima, Pa.-based company said it’s also considering other locations in Mexico.
“For Pilot, Mexico is a market with tremendous growth and potential. Its economy is the 11th largest in the world, so it was a natural step in our continued growth,” Richard Phillips, chief executive officer of Pilot Freight Services, said in a statement. “We’re eager to get started, and confident in Pilot de Mexico’s future.”
