PLEXTOR PICKS EXEL AS EUROPEAN SUPPLY CHAIN PARTNER
Plextor, a worldwide brand for products made by the electronics and printing equipment division of Shinano Kenshi Co. Ltd. in Japan, has contracted with Exel, a U.K.-based provider of logistics solutions, for supply chain services in Europe.
The agreement covers inbound freight from Asia, warehousing, kitting, regional distribution and technical services. Exel will also provide European logistics support for Plextor through Exel’s shared-use warehouse in Wommelgem, near Antwerp, Belgium.
