P&O NEDLLOYD GRANTED LICENCE FOR SHENZHEN BRANCH

   P&O Nedlloyd has been granted a licence to operate a branch office in
Shenzhen, in south China.
   The licence will enable the carrier to expand its business activities in
Shenzhen.
   Previously, P&O Nedlloyd was only allowed to have a representative office
in Shenzhen.
   The Shenzhen branch is the second P&O Nedlloyd office in China which has
been granted a branch licence, the first being in Shanghai.
