The retail logistics specialist signed a lease for bigger facility near the Port of Savannah, according to a statement from the company.
Port Logistics Group, a provider of container trucking and warehousing services in and around several major ports, has signed a long-term lease for a 315,000-square foot warehouse facility at CenterPoint Properties intermodal center in Savannah.
The new facility will replace Port Logistics’ existing location where the company has sub-leased space since entering the Savannah market last summer.
The CenterPoint Intermodal Center offers direct access to the Port of Savannah and the Norfolk Southern’s intermodal rail yard. The Port Logistics Group warehouse has 113 trailer parking positions, 50 exterior dock doors and two drive in doors.
Port Logistics Group also operates in Southern California, Seattle/Tacoma and New York/New Jersey.
