The United Kingdom port will officially open its new food examination facilities Oct. 29.
The Port of Felixstowe will officially open its new food examination facilities Oct. 29, according to Hutchinson Ports (UK) Limited.
The 4 million euro ($4.54 million) investment includes refurbishment and expansion of the examination facilities and new offices for the Suffolk Coastal Health Authority.
The new facilities cover an area of 3,045 square meters and feature an additional 840 square meters of office space and meeting rooms.
