The 1 million-square-meter facility is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
Construction for the 1 million-square-meter Port of Gothenburg Logistics Park, adjacent to the freight terminals at the Swedish port, is currently underway, the Port of Gothenburg said in a statement.
Half of the Port of Gothenburg Logistics Park will be transformed into storage and logistics properties in the next few years, with the rest of the project expected to be completed by 2025.
The five property owners of the logistics park are the Gothenburg Port Authority, NCC Property Development AB, Prologis Nordic, Eklandia Fastighets AB and Bockasjo.
The Port of Gothenburg Logistics Park will create over 2,000 jobs, according to the port.
