PORT OF OAKLAND APPOINTS BRIDGES TO MARITIME DIRECTOR
The Port of Oakland has appointed Jerry Bridges to maritime director.
Bridges previously served as the Northern California vice president at Marine Terminals Corporations, where he managed an $80 million-a-year budget and a staff of 85 employees. He also oversaw terminal operations in Oakland for Evergreen America and Sea-Land Services.
As maritime director for the Port of Oakland, Bridges will manage day-to-day port operations. He replaces Ray Boyle, who remains in the port’s maritime division.
