Power Freight is now Javelin Logistics

   Power Freight Systems of Newark, Calif., has rolled out a new global corporate identity: Javelin Logistics. Power Freight was initially developed as an air freight service for the high-tech and consumer electronics industries but has now moved to more of a transportation and warehouse management service provider.
   The company said it is rebranding in order to modernize its corporate identity and stay aligned with the work it has done within the logistics industry.
   Javelin provides a suite of logistics services, covering distribution, supply chain management, secure warehousing, online transactional tools, and local, national, and international transportation options based on speed and cost.
   The company has launched a new website with an updated set of customer tools and information to coincide with the rebranding.
   “The name Power Freight Systems no longer accurately represented an innovative company or the broad scope of logistics services we provide,” said Malcolm Winspear, CEO.
   The company said it plans to continue to expand its third-party logistics efforts while maintaining its air freight roots.
