The Roadrunner Transportation Systems’ subsidiary will open a new facility in Plainfield, Ind. next week, featuring 300,000 square feet of warehousing space.
Prime Distribution Services, which provides warehousing, consolidation and transportation solutions, is opening a new facility May 11 in Plainfield, Ind., a town just west of Indianapolis.
The new location, referred to as Airtech, features 300,000 square feet of warehousing space, allowing it to accommodate up to 20,000 pallets, the company said. In addition, Airtech is equipped with 30 dock doors.
Dry warehousing space will be offered at the new facility, while refrigerated warehousing solutions will continued to be provided at Prime Distribution Services’ already existing facility in Plainfield, referred to as the PDS Allpoints Facility.
Founded in 1990, Prime Distribution Services is based out of Plainfield, Ind. and has over 2.5 million square feet of warehousing space along key transportation corridors. The company is a subsidiary of Roadrunner Transportation Systems, an asset-light transportation and logistics services provider based out of Cudahy, Wis.
