The freight transportation technology provider says customers can strengthen brand loyalty, meet on-demand expectations and lower costs while increasing productivity.
Chicago-based freight transportation technology provider project44 has added an international and domestic parcel-tracking and address-validation solution to its product portfolio.
The new offering provides API-based integrations into more than 115 major market and regional carriers across the globe, including FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, Royal Mail, Hermes and Deutsche Post.
Any parcel capacity providers not already on the network can be integrated in two weeks, free of charge, project44 said.
The company said the new solution allows its customers to strengthen brand loyalty, meet on-demand customer expectations, lower costs while increasing productivity, eliminate stock-outs without bloating inventory and satisfy tight delivery requirements.
project44’s visibility solutions now include less-than-truckload, volume LTL, truckload, rail and parcel, with the company saying in April that ocean was “on the near horizon.”
“Connected to over 94,000 carriers and 5.3 million assets, project44 is now the only multimodal visibility provider to offer tracking solutions in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa,” project44 said Tuesday.
project44 has been expanding rapidly since it was founded in 2014. In April, the company secured $35 million in new funding from a collection of capital firms to underpin the build-out of its multimodal data-connectivity platform. The April funding round brought the company’s total capital raised to $48 million.
