PSA hands Muara Container Terminal back to the Brunei Government
PSA International subsidiary PSA Muara Container Terminal Sdn Bhd will April 1 hand back operations of the Muara Container Terminal to the Brunei Government.
PSA Maura has managed and operated the terminal for the last six years, during which time it has trained local managers and workers and passed on 'operational knowledge and expertise' to the Brunei Ports Department, which is undertaking a review of the long-term capacity needs of the port.
'PSA Muara looks forward to participating in future terminal operating opportunities that may be available once the longer term vision of Muara Port is firmed up,' PSA said in a statement.
