REDWOOD SYSTEMS OPENS MEXICO CITY LOGISTICS CENTER
Redwood Systems has opened a logistics center just North of Mexico City, which will provide logistics services to the Mexican branch of Sony Corp., Sony Electronicos de Mexico.
The 470,000-square-foot facility has 53 docks and parking for 120 trailers. Inside, it is equipped to provide services such as packaging, kitting, inbound raw materials delivery, product configuration and assembly assistance, warehouse and transportation technology and data control with pick-and-pack, packaging and labeling services.
Redwood Systems, based in Vancouver, Wash., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Consolidated Freightways.
