Roadrunner restructures temp-controlled service unit

Roadrunner Transportation Systems has formed a new temperature-controlled transportation division by combining M. Bruenger and R&M Transportation into a single operation, the company said in a statement.

   “This advancement has been in the works for quite some time,” Curt Stoelting, president and chief operating officer of Roadrunner Transportation Systems, said of the move. “We are creating a temperature-controlled network that will control more than 400 tractors and manage more than 650 temperature controlled trailers.”
   The service handles a variety of temperature-controlled goods, such as frozen foods, meat, seafood, produce, beverages, ice cream, pharmaceuticals.
