SALVORS INSPECT EVER DECENT AFTER COLLISION
Salvors are inspecting the Ever Decent, the Evergreen containership
which collided with the Norwegian Dream cruise ship off England’s southeast coast last
Wednesday.
Salvors will decide whether the 4,211-TEU containership will be able to
proceed to Zeebrugge, where cargoes on board the ship may then be relayed onwards.
The Ever Decent was carrying transatlantic cargoes as part on
Evergreen’s round-the-world westbound service.
General average has been declared on the ship.
