Samskip, DC ink Brazilian logistics agreement

Samskip Logistics and DC Logistics Brasil signed an agreement to expand Brazilian offerings in sea freight logistics.

   Samskip Logistics and freight forwarding company DC Logistics Brasil have inked an agreement to expand Brazilian offerings in sea freight logistics.
   The agreement allows DC Logistics to integrate with the Samskip team and business in Salvador and throughout the rest of Brazil, Samskip said.
   “This partnership will benefit all Samskip Logistics customers in Brazil by combining our own years of experience and expertise in the market with the reach of our like-minded, high service quality partners at DC Logistics Brasil,” Samskip Logistics CEO Ásbjörn Gíslason said. “We look forward to further strengthening our presence in a market that continues to show considerable promise for Samskip Logistics, working together with the strong team at DC Logistics.”
   DC Logistics Brasil is recognized as a main player in Brazil’s freight forwarding industry with specialties in transporting fresh and frozen produce, textiles, wine, coffee, tyres and ceramics. Samskip Logistics also specializes in refrigerated transport.
