Schenker to open Heathrow perishables facility

The facility will focus on fresh produce shippers, in particular the farmed fish industry, according to the logistics services firm.

   DB Schenker Logistics will open a new perishables handling facility at London Heathrow airport on March 30. 
   The 11,000-square-foot, temperature-controlled facility will provide cross-docking and offer 24-hour service. 
   The facility will focus on the requirements of fresh produce shippers, in particular the farmed fish industry, the logistics services firm said in a statement.
