SDV expands in Norway

Third party logistics services provider SDV has set up a subsidiary in Norway extending its network to Scandinavia.
“SDV Norway AS is fully integrated into SDV’s global network and offers a complete range of services in international supply chain. The headquarters are located in central Oslo where ocean freight and industrial projects are handled,” said Rune Engebretsen, general manager of SDV Norway AS, in a statement.
A second office at Oslo-Gardemoen airport is dedicated to air freight. New branches will follow in Bergen and Stavanger by 2014, SDV said.
SDV Norway will focus on the oil and gas industry. “Oslo joins the existing network of London, Aberdeen, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Milan and Paris, the main hubs of our European oil and gas network” said Philippe Lejeune, SDV’s oil and gas/industrial project director in Europe.
