SEA-LAND PULLS OUT OF CANADA/NORTHERN EUROPE SERVICE
Sea-Land Service confirmed that it is discontinuing its non-conference
service between Montreal and northern Europe at the end of April.
Sea-Land’s last sailings in the trade are on April 24 eastbound and on
April 20 westbound.
The Montreal/northern Europe service will continue to be operated by
Maersk Line and P&O Nedlloyd, Sea-Land’s two partners for this service.
The ending of Sea-Land’s participation in the service represents a
withdrawal from the Montreal/northern Europe trade by Sea-Land less than a year after it
entered the trade.
