Seaboard to start New Orleans/North Central America calls
Miami-based Seaboard Marine will next Monday start direct calls between the Port of New Orleans and the North Central America region.
The Central American service will use three vessels ranging from 510 to 650 TEUs calling: New Orleans, Santo Tomas, Puerto Cortez, Managua and El Salvador. The three ships service will also provide twice weekly direct northbound service from Santo Tomas and Puerto Cortez back to New Orleans.
The vessel “Hafentor” will make the first call at New Orleans May 29.
