The short-sea carrier will launch its seasonal Black Sea reefer service between Mediterranean ports and Novorossiysk, Russia, situated along the Black Sea.
Maersk’s subsidiary Seago Line, a short-sea carrier that operates in the Mediterranean and North Europe, will launch its seasonal Black Sea reefer service.
The weekly loop will have a rotation of Mersin, Turkey; Ashdod, Israel; Novorossiysk, Russia; and Mersin, Turkey, Seago said in a statement.
In addition, the Black Sea reefer service will add a call to Alexandria, Egypt on a later stage.
The commencement date, which has not been released, will be communicated shortly, Seago said.
