SEKO Logistics strengthens presence in California

The Itasca, Ill.-based logistics services provider has tripled its warehouse operations in California, according to a statement from the company.

SEKO Logistics tripled its warehouse operations in California with the opening of a new 117,000-square-foot omni-channel logistics hub in Chino, Calif. and the expansion into a new 200,000-square-foot facility in San Francisco, Calif., the company said in a statement.
The investment was driven by rapid growth for customers in the retail, solar, high-tech, aerospace and medical industries; and the continued global expansion of the company’s omni-channel logistics strategy.
In addition, SEKO’s airfreight gateway and local warehouse operation in Los Angeles, Calif. relocated into a new 82,000 square foot unit, which is over 30 percent larger than its former LAX facility. Situated in close proximity to the port and airport, the LAX operation also supports home delivery services.
The company also opened a new 24,000-square-foot warehouse in Riverside, Calif. to support fast growing retail customers in the region. The new warehouse also serves SEKO’s heavyweight home delivery customers and offers warehousing for retailers and consumer brands.
“SEKO operates a dedicated MedTec hub in Costa Mesa and serves customers out of San Diego, taking its total operations in the state to five facilities in Southern California and three in Northern California,” the company said in a statement.
