Former CIA director Mike Pompeo gets the nod in a 57-42 vote.
The Senate confirmed Mike Pompeo by a vote of 57-42 on Thursday to be
Secretary of State. Pompeo is moving over to the State Department from
his job as director of Central Intelligence, a post he held since
January 2017.
