Service Announcements: cargo-partner group and TNT

Austrian 3PL cargo-partner group expands in the United States, while TNT opens new hub in Sydney, Australia.

Austrian logistics services provider cargo-partner group has opened offices in Los Angeles and Houston as part of its ongoing expansion in the United States.
“Many customers from our core region in Central and Eastern Europe have their corporate headquarters in the USA, where they also make final decisions. This step brings us even closer to our customers and may also give us new inspirations for our home market,” said Stefan Krauter, the company’s chief executive officer, in a statement.
The company entered New York in 2001 and Chicago in 2011.

TNT has opened a 78,000-square-meter hub at Sydney’s Erskine Park.
The hub, which can process up to 25,000 parcels per hour, will handle domestic and international shipments, and includes warehouse space of more than 30,000 square meters.
TNT’s investment in the new facility is part of a larger investment in other hubs in Melbourne and Brisbane, both due for completion later this year, the company said.
