Shipco adds LCL service from L.A. to Costa Rica

Non-vessel-operating common carrier Shipco Transport has started a new direct less-than-containerload service from Los Angeles to San Jose, Costa Rica, in conjunction with WorldWide Alliance partner PCS.
This marks Shipco’s seventh direct LCL service from the United States to Central America.
With a 16-day transit from Los Angeles to the PCS San Jose container freight station, the new service will accommodate freight forwarders’ shipments from Southern California, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle, while extending to destinations including Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.
