Shipco expands to Taipei

   Non-vessel-operating common carrier Shipco Transport will open a new sales and operations office in Taipei.
   “With the opening of Shipco Transport in Taiwan, we are closing one of the last remaining gaps in direct representation in Asia and can now offer more complete coverage within main markets and countries of the Asia region.” said Kenneth Reese, Shipco’s chief operating officer for Asia, in a statement.
   Eva Chen will lead the Taipei office as general manager.
   Shipco is a subsidiary of Scan-Group, an international shipping and transportation company based in Copenhagen and has more than 2,700 employees in own offices worldwide.
