Shipco Transport opens two new branches

The non-vessel-operating common carrier opened a branch in Cebu, Philippines and Izmir, Turkey.

   Non-vessel-operating common carrier Shipco Transport opened two new branches in Cebu, Philippines and Izmir, Turkey.
   The Cebu branch opened Sept. 24, joining the company’s existing business in Manila. The new branch provides less-than-containerload (LCL), full-containerload (FCL) and airfreight import and export services to the global freight forwarding industry, according to Shipco.
   Shipco’s office in Izmir, which opened Oct. 8 to assist its existing office in Istanbul and provide coverage to Turkey’s market, provides LCL and FCL import and export services.
   Shipco, which is a subsidiary of international shipping and transportation company Scan-Group, operates more than 75 offices in over 30 countries.
