Shoe giant Skechers leases Ontario warehouse
Newport Beach-based Bixby Land Co. said it has leased a 231,444-square-foot industrial warehouse building in Ontario to Manhattan Beach-based shoe-manufacturer Skechers USA Inc.
Financial details of the agreement were not released.
Skechers operates more than 120 outlets in the United States and distributes its products to more than 100 countries worldwide.
In addition, Bill Halford, Bixby's president and chief executive officer, said that demand for industrial space in the region remains high and the firm will erect a 140,000-square-foot building next to the Skechers warehouse to keep up with the demand.
Real Estate firm CB Richard Ellis represented both parties in the deal.
