SIA POSTS FLAT EARNINGS
Singapore Airlines reported net income of $1.03 billion Singapore
dollars ($601.7 million) for its fiscal year ending March 31, compared to
profit of S$1.04 billion a year earlier.
SIA cited weak demand caused by Asia’s financial crisis and remains
cautious about this year’s results.
Revenue at what is still Asia’s most profitable airlines rose slightly
to S$7.8 billion.
