Advanced Supply Chain, a 3PL company based in Bradford, United Kingdom, has opened a new warehouse in Corby, Northamptonshire, England, which will create roughly 150 new jobs.
The warehouse brings Advanced Supply Chain to more than one million-square-feet of warehouse space and is Advanced’s first facility outside of Yorkshire. The company called the new warehouse’s opening a key stage in its expansion efforts.
Advanced focuses primarily on retail and apparel and says it will likely increase turnover from £20 million ($31 million) to £30 million ($46.5 million) during its next financial year.
While this move is its first facility outside of Yorkshire, the company did recently partner with Sinotrans, a Chinese logistics company, to offer Sinotrans’ customers end-to-end supply chain logistics support.
