SITA SIGNS GULF AIR TO CARGO AUTOMATION CONTRACT
SITA, a global provider of communications and software services to
airlines, has signed an agreement with Bahrain-based airline Gulf Air to
provide the carrier with a suite of air freight Internet and software
applications.
The SITA system is designed to automate airline cargo operations,
including bookings, revenue accounting, dangerous goods control, container
management, Internet tracking and rate management.
