SPANAIR TO EXPAND WITH AIRBUS ORDER

Spanair, a Spain-based airline partly owned by Scandinavian Airlines System, has
ordered up to 45 Airbus aircraft in the A320 family.

The airline plans to use the aircraft to expand its operations between Spain and the
rest of Europe, offering belly cargo capacity.

Deliveries of the A319s, A320s and A321s are scheduled to begin in September next year
