SSA terminal renamed Oakland International Container Terminal
Berths 57-59 in the port of Oakland, operated by a joint venture of SSA Marine and Matson Navigation Co., have been renamed Oakland International Container Terminal.
The 150-acre terminal opened in November 2002
SSA Terminal will also operate the Howard Terminal after it has been reopened.
“We anticipate accelerated growth in cargo through the Port of Oakland,” said Ed DeNike, chief operating officer of SSA Terminals.
