SUPPLY-CHAIN COUNCIL SETS UP CHAPTER IN AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND
The Supply-Chain Council, the not-for-profit supply chain organization, has set up a “chapter” – or regional arm – in Australia/New Zealand.
The regional chapter is designed to serve member companies in that part of the world.
As with chapters in Europe, Japan and Korea, the Australia/New Zealand chapter will seek to educate executives on the use of the organization’s “supply-chain operations reference model” and provide a forum for the exchange of information and opinions.
The headquarters of the Supply-Chain Council is in Pittsburgh, Pa.
In a separate development, the council will have a “Suppy-Chain World N.A” conference in Rosemont, Ill., on April 10-12.
