T. Parker Host represents Cleveland trucker
Norfolk shipping agency T. Parker Host Inc. is expanding into the trucking business.
Host said it has begun local representation of the trucking and transportation specialists, Horizon Freight System Inc.
Horizon, based in Cleveland, Ohio, has more than 25 years of experience in trucking with 40 terminals nationwide and a fleet of some 700 vehicles and offers services such as intermodal operations, truckload operations, brokerage/logistics services, heavy haul trucking and expedited services. Horizon picks up and delivers freight anywhere in the United States.
Randy Tosh, senior vice president Traffic of T. Parker Host Inc., said the company for some time has been interested in partnering in the trucking business.
