Tacoma port hires new contracts manager
The Port of Tacoma has appointed Alyce Benge as contracts manager.
Benge will be responsible for the management and oversight of port construction contracts, including the financial and legal compliance of all port contracting activities.
Prior to joining the port, Benge served as director of purchasing services for the Issaquah School District, responsible for the management and oversight of daily warehouse and procurement operations for the district.
Previously, Benge served as procurement unit manager for the Office of State Procurement within the Washington State Department of General Administration.
