The FAA chief was on the hot seat during a Senate hearing Wednesday looking into reforming the certification process for new aircraft after the 737 MAX grounding.
Boeing delivered 380 planes last year, less than half of rival Airbus.
In the wake of the 737 MAX crashes and subsequent worldwide grounding of the aircraft, Boeing reports its earnings, which are down for the quarter.
Airbus is ending production of the A380. Those in air cargo won’t miss the plane, because as big as it is, it doesn’t hold that much cargo!
