A nonprofit trucking group is partnering with a volunteer-run disaster-relief organization to collect and deliver critical supplies as Hurricane Ian intensified into a Category 4 system and is expected to pound Florida’s southwest coast late Wednesday morning.

Two nonprofit groups, Trucks with Room to Spare and CN Supply, are collecting donations, mobilizing to help Hurricane Ida survivors in southwest Louisiana.

Truck drivers, search and rescue groups and humanitarian relief organizations, deliver critical medical supplies, food and other essentials after Hurricane Laura pounded the Gulf Coast.
