Lyft shares rise as firm reports strong Q2 active rider numbers

Lyft, one of the major players in the increasingly profitable ride-hailing industry, reported strong revenue growth Tuesday in its Q1 2022 earnings.
Q3 2021 marked the first adjusted EBITDA-profitable quarter in Uber’s publicly traded history and the second in a row for Lyft.
Lyft says it will be adjusted-EBITDA profitable for all of FY 2021.
Lyft reported a 45% decline in active riders and 44% decline in revenue in Q4 as the pandemic continued to affect ridesharing.
