Daimler Truck recalling 64,064 units for possible steering loss
Autonomous trucking language can be a little off-putting to the uninitiated. One exception may be the term “feature complete.”
Bid season is here, which means contract rates are catching up to spot rates and in turn loosening capacity.
Daimler Trucks North America signed a consent order with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration agreeing to pay up to $30 million for tardiness in reporting safety recalls in 2017 and 2018.
In the past several months alone, more than 35,000 trucks were recalled for defects.
Nothing is certain except death and taxes. And, apparently, vehicle recalls.
